Felicia Matthias founded and heads Matthias Migration.
She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Auckland, followed by a successful career in Hong Kong. Seeking new challenges, she then pursued and completed a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of London, before working as a commercial lawyer in both New Zealand and Australia.
Whilst doing her own Australian visa application, she found that she enjoyed the complexity of Australian migration law and hence decided to transition from commercial law. She studied and graduated with high distinction from the Australian National University, registered with the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA) in December 2017 and began working as a migration consultant in Sydney.
She joined one of Sydney’s oldest and well-established migration firms in 2019. Her solid foundation in migration legislation, case law and policy, coupled with a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and a customer-centric approach, contributed to consistent excellent results, and her being promoted in 2022 to head the Employer Sponsored (Corporate) team. Under her leadership, her team achieved significant and sustained increases in monthly revenue over a 14-month period. The success wasn’t solely measured by financial gains but also by the way these results were achieved. Throughout this period, Felicia and her team received numerous compliments from very satisfied clients.
Recognising that providing migration services goes beyond technical migration advice and visa application preparation, Felicia established Matthias Migration in 2023. Felicia empathises with clients as they embark on their migration journeys. She approaches her work with empathy and passion, and delivers outcome-based solutions.
