The New Zealand Citizen (Family Relationship) visa enables family members of specific New Zealand citizens, who are not themselves New Zealand citizens, to enter and stay in Australia on a temporary basis.
There are no specified legal requirements for sponsorship associated with this visa. To be eligible, the New Zealand citizen must presently hold, or be eligible to receive, a Special Category Visa (SCV), and they should not be a protected special category visa holder.
