The Employer Nomination Scheme visa is designed for skilled workers, nominated by their employer, to establish permanent residency in Australia.

This visa offers three streams: Temporary Residence Transition, Direct Entry, and Labour Agreement.

  • Temporary Residence Transition stream is for Temporary Work (Skilled) visa holders or Temporary Skill Shortage visa holders, who have worked in Australia for a specified period with a nominating employer who wishes to offer them a permanent position. 
  • Direct Entry stream is for people nominated by an employer for permanent residence. 
  • Labour Agreement stream is for people sponsored by an employer through a labour agreement negotiated between an employer and the Australian Government.
